This Sunday was the Rebosute Special at Anime Japan.

— the VAs are old af like I remember when Gokudera and Yamamoto’s VA’s had flipped hair (the former was long and the latter was short and now it’s vice versa) and now the former also wears GLASSES

— Yukari Kokubun very much looks like a mom bless her heart

— Neeko’s favorite episode is the one in choice arc right before they head out because Leon makes everyone’s suits and Tsuna says everyone’s names before leaving which she thinks is really cool

— Gen-chan picked the episode where Gokudera realizes his life is valuable (?)

— Ryosuke picked the Varia sword fight bc of course

— They watched episode 75 together which was the episode they showed up to the secret base for the first time and one of the stage actors was just “yeah Lal is hot and very much my type” so there’s that

— try listening to an actor scream SEXY in english and not laugh I dare you

— James apparently showed up in the comments at one point

— they asked each other questions which I didn’t fully understand so I cannot provide any information but Ryosuke’s joke question was “what’s your favorite food” send help

— they also played some mini games that I don’t understand but that’s okay not important

— Because Ryohei wasn’t there in person, he recorded a clip for people to watch and holy shit it was absolutely adorable to watch Yukari brighten up, call out to him and “I got to see Tsuna I’m happy”

— the VAs are all looking forward to the play and are curious to see how certain things are done like the box animal weapons and in Tsuna’s case X-Burner Air (WHICH I HOPE HAPPENS THAT WILL BE GREAT)

— Byakuran is MUCH DEEPER THAN I EXPECTED

— Shouichi’s Actor is also a big fan of the series and has watched it since he was a kid, he was very happy to show off his costume to the camera which I thought was cute

— Byakuran has the wings!! I didn’t catch much of this part but if this server is saying there is a part 2 I’m VERY excited

— OH one more thing I do remember Surugurunpa’s question to Ryosuke was straight up “have you ever gone to eat at Takesushi” which I think the context of it was did you ever eat at a place that you felt would match?

Yay I finally got to watch the Anime Japan rebosute special (thank you so much dear uploader).

I just wanted to write some quick highlights. Actually they're all Gen-chan (Gokudera actor) highlights lmao

They were watching and giving comments on episode 75 of the anime. Gen-chan said he thought Lal was super cute and he wanted to date her back when he was a kid lmao. Don't know if I heard this right but he asked if they could pause for that one scene for him ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) wwwwww

*Gen-chan sees Lal naked* stands up, shouts "AAAAHHH" and yells "SEKUSHIIII" wwwwww Gen-chan pls

He was so energetic during the whole naked scene that he's saying he will get scolded wwwwww

*Gen-chan sees Gokudera with the cat in the ed* "THIS IS EROTIC. IT'S UNFAIR" lmao

Ichi-san (Gokudera VA) says the line "What I couldn't see was my own life" live. Everyone freaks out (me included lol) especially Gen-chan and he again yells "AMAZING" and says, "Sorry a commoner got in" lmao basically he was fangirling the most hearing Ichi-san especially because he said he was also keeping this line in mind when performing and he also said their telepathic connection is awesome lol.

Neeko and Yukari-san both noted how similar Gen-chan and Ichi-san are which is something I also felt. They look like they're relatives lol

Yukari-san asked if there was a time they thought they were exactly like their characters and for Gen-chan, since he was a fan of reborn and he heard they were going to do a stage play, at first he was thinking kinda angrily "They're doing a stage play? Who's gonna be Sawada Tsunayoshi?" Then he met Ryohei (Tsuna actor) at a different workplace and he thought "What? This guy's going to play Tsuna?" Then when they actually got to work and perform together, he thought "This guy is really nice." lol. If I'm not mistaken, this was before he was casted as Gokudera although I don't know what work they were in together. So that was exactly what happened with Gokudera in the anime/manga.

Aaaand that's it for my Gen-chan highlights. Everyone had their moments but Gen-chan was super hyper that he got to me lol

The whole event was so much fun and I was so happy to see the anime cast. This is actually the first time I saw them in an event (there's rebocon but I haven't watched them in entirety). Come on now anime gods, give them their jobs back.

also spoilers under bc i wanna talk about one of the changes

in the stage play, instead of bianchi training gokudera, it was a virtual training simulation prepared by tyl gokudera. i believe the tyl version was talking to his younger self from a futuristic office, motivating his younger counterpart.

makes me wonder, was stageplay tyl gokudera aware of the arrival of their past selves?

Reactions or more like random thoughts I took down lol. I actually got to watch the 1st play last kinda like how I started the anime from the future arc and went back 😂 I haven't watched the backstage extras so maybe I'll add (someday).

i wont go on lengths about what im saying next — bc itd make me emo and i'd rather avoid that — but dino is so important a character to me. amongst all the series im into, and they're many, if i had to pick my overall fave, i'd pick dino with no second thoughts but catch me cry if for whatever reason i had to choose between him and hibari
