Welcome to a fancy getaway in [MEDIA]! We invite you to celebrate a party after the fact, once you get past the spoilery-yet-completely-essential intro (and title) that sets up some tantalizing questions you'll be thinking on for the entire experience. Get to know your hosts and fellow guests (including some compellingly-written female characters), but it'll be difficult, some of them don't spend as much time in the party compared to others, some might as well be ghosts that no one knows, and some have skeletons in the closet (no, none of them are in the closet, but a guy gets literally locked in one). What, no one likes what's happening at this party? A shame the weather is so bad that everyone has to stay here. After all, you can't miss seeing the others' reactions, unveiled secrets, smoking guns, and that one recurring song. And don't skip the ending, even if it's a tricky one! It'll leave you with a lot to chew on.

This mystery story takes place during a brutal turf war between two factions--one group of Asian origin and the other, European. The violence only continues to escalate as the protagonists desperately try to solve the case, raising fears of a grim future for their community and lending a sense of urgency to their actions. If these factions would only set aside their differences and learn to coexist, would they be able to build a better world together? The answer is left unclear, but things would surely never have turned out as they ultimately do in this emotional and sometimes heartwrenching media, with themes of ancient hatred and finding love and friendship in a dangerous and unjust world. There's also a fair bit of representation, including several POC characters who don't belong to the Asian faction, and one of the protagonists has multiple marginalized identities that are tragically relevant to the storyline. Can you stomach the horrible consequences of hate that's been passed down from generation to generation? Then this media is for you.
