I just found the best series ever, this baby has EVERYTHING! This is like if Divergent meets My Hero Academia! We got explicit queer characters, neurodivergent-coded characters, disabled characters, black, asian and indigenous characters???? There's toxic old man yaoi, badass women, characters fighting the government, messy and dysfunctional relationships, found family, and MULTIPLE LOVE TRIANGLES??? If you like any of this then HIGHLY recommend!!!

Ya got POC rep, ya got QUEER rep, ya got FAT rep, ya got a BUFF OLD LADY and a cathartic feminist message! With multiple strong female characters, triumphing over the men who try to control and change them! And when it's not busy making prudent social commentary, it's genuinely got some good laughs!

if you like deaths, drama and a quirky ensemble cast, you’ll love this gripping British fantasy murder mystery! there’s diversity galore in the main cast: lots of Black and Asian characters, a woman with a stammer, a war veteran, two gay men and a lesbian detective – all canon! Headed up by the most iconic strong female protagonist (who talks to an owl??) you’ll fall in love with relateable characters with true-to-life stories of representation. there’s potential for a toxic yuri plotline involving a murderous Irish woman with a tragic backstory and a secret barrister! as family connections are revealed, beasts are slain and magic powers come in handy, will our characters give in to capitalist greed, or will found family win out in the end? watch to find out……
