while I see what you mean about deh casting poc, it doesn't really hold up when you consider that both murphy parents on bway rn are being played by poc
really thats cool!! i think its just bc i read that tweet about them wanting to cast a poc evan and then just,, not. also how both original casts are majority white; as sad as it is people remember the og cast (bway and west end) more than replacement casts if u get me?? but im glad to know that they are actually tryna do things!!
wow i just watched an old Rupaul interview and like as problematic as she can be sometimes something really stuck out to me about when she said “success is something between you and yourself. Only you know where you’ve come from and how far you’ve gone”. I feel like so many of my friends, including myself, get such immense pressure from our families, from our peers, from the media to be ‘successful’ and it’s cultivated this mindset that we can always be doing more; we’ve never done enough. And while I definitely still have plenty more that I want to achieve in life, I think it’s nice to sometimes sit back and just really appreciate everything you’ve done for yourself and to always be proud of everything you’ve accomplished.
kicking my feet and giggling at a random wilde quote entered into an unrelated book review... hes literally cutes
