This was prompted by the awesome @aurea-b! It’s a bit short this time but I hope it’s funny XD Enjoy!

Nines side-eyed Gavin from the driver’s seat and sighed. ‘You know what? I stand by my word, you look ridiculous. It’s hard to take you seriously, when your dressed like that. Tell me again why you couldn’t change once we were there?’ ‘Yeah, right a grown ass man half naked in a room full of little kids? Bad idea.’ ‘And some child couldn’t play the role because…’ ‘Because she got ill okay? And it’s one of the main parts of the play.’ Nines nodded, still hoping to somehow get Gavin – and more importantly himself - out of this. ‘And wouldn’t it be more logical for Tina to play this part then? It’s her daughter that’s in the drama group.’ ‘Tina invited her girlfriend to watch it. You know the receptionist android?’ ‘Yes, I know her.’ ‘And Tina couldn’t just leave her sitting awkwardly with the other parents.’ ‘So instead, I will be sitting there awkwardly with the other parents.’
‘Okay, Nines, first of all: Excuse you, I look phckin’ amazing in this dress! Second of all it’s 2039, gender norms don’t apply anymore. And Last of all: I shaved my legs for this shit, now let me be a phcking princess!’ ‘Some princess you are’, Nines chuckled although he had wanted to groan. ‘Also it’s quite comfortable, I mean a bit narrow around the hips and I didn’t have balloons for tits since that one awful Halloween, but phck it.’ ‘You are going to scare so many kids out of drama groups…’ ‘Hey, I’m amazing with children okay? It’s the adults that I can’t stand.’ ‘Gavin, you can’t stand anyone.’ ‘Nines, please, you are speaking with royalty! Behave yourself.’ ‘RA9, give me strength…’
‘Gavin!’ Tina’s scream was piercing through the low buzz of people speaking. She was running towards him and stopped a few steps away, looking at him in surprise. ‘Wow, I really didn’t think this would suit you this well!’ She continued taking the fabric in her hands and look at the sparkling glitter. ‘Where did you get that?’ ‘It has it perks not being too tall.’ ‘Or simply being small’, Nines coughed and Tina beamed. ‘No, for real, it looks good on you. I mean, okay, you will be a super buff princess, that got into one too many bar fights, but hey. You are saving the play! Now quick! You need to get some makeup!’ At least that made Gavin a bit wary and he looked towards Nines for help. But he simply stared at him and gave him a push, whispering: ‘Come on, princess. Your Highness has to get his makeup.’ ‘You are cruel…’
The play was… entertaining enough, Nines supposed. Tina and her girlfriend watched her daughter excitedly. She played an evil witch that cursed the princess and the play focussed on breaking that curse. The story was… interesting enough, but more importantly whenever Gavin was on stage that was a chance to collect even more blackmail and material for their teasing.
In the end they accepted their applause, Gavin keeping Tina’s daughter on his shoulders the whole time. Afterwards, he met Nines outside, sighing deeply as if just finishing a major case. ‘Now where is my knight in shining armour? Get my royal ass back home so I can change back into normal clothes and let my leg-hair grow back!’ ‘Gross…’
