(should have taken photos at the event but I forgot, so here's a later one)

Re-chree-ate had a series of Waste Free Christmas Workshops, and attendees were encouraged to bring along their recycled / upcycled crafts to share. These are the little guys I brought with me to talk about my frankenplushies!

Crossroads Isle of Man Community Cafe and Warm Space

most of the soft toys I use to make my frankenplushies come from my local Crossroads charity shop.

Crossroads is a charity, support organisation and advocacy group for carers and those they care for, based on the Isle of Man.

the shop nearest to me has also turned their top floor into a community Warm Space (essential in winter for an island with one gas provider who routinely indulges in price gouging, inflated billing and all the unconstrained greed and flagrant dishonesty you can expect from a company with a monopoly on an essential service in a captive market) and a community cafe.

they're currently closed while they do some essential maintenance and are also fund-raising for new equiptment.
