Moose Notes: You know, it’s what it says on the tin, but what’s in the tin has depth and flavor and darkness and love and grit. Be braced for Mean Laura, Recluse Derek, and Ballet Dancer Stiles. Dark as in asshole, as in angry, as in miserable. Everyone is miserable--but, like, functioning miserable. And there’s a lot of sex. I wouldn’t say it ends happy, but it definitely ends hopeful. Bonus points if you like tattooed Stiles, because hoo boy. Also the prose is lovely and the characterization is on point(e). Derek POV.
