Finally got a second milk crate for my records! No longer do i have a disorganized pile of records sitting next to my player!

Top crate has all my King Gizz, plus other rock-adjacent records. Bottom crate has electronic-adjacent records and video game soundtracks (those black and white cases on the left are all drum and bass records from Spatial Records on bandcamp).

Also, I've really dropped the ball on this blog, huh. I'm unsure when I'll be back to making edits, as I am currently simultaneously in the Job Search Mine *and* the PhD Program Applications Mine, but I hope to one day have the time and energy to get back to it! Until then, I'll continue reblogging pokemon-adjacent content occasionally so y'all know I'm still alive.

ALMOST DONE WITH MY MASTER'S DEGREE!!!!!!

I have to present my project Thursday morning, and take an exam Thursday evening, then I'm home free!

Do I know what I'm doing post-graduation? God no! I applied to some PhD programs, but I haven't gotten accepted to any of them yet. I still haven't heard back from three schools, but at this point it's likely because I'm on a waitlist, and I'll get notified of my rejection in a month rather than right now. 😔

What about this blog? Well, now that I'll hopefully have energy and conscious thought outside my classes, I'm going to try to get back into the habit of doing pokemon edits! I have missed making and posting them the past months, I just have not had the time or the energy to do them.

As for other things, Big Man's doing well! He loves his lap time as always!

And I got a treat in the mail yesterday! The Neon White soundtrack by Machine Girl on vinyl! 4 records total. This soundtrack absolutely slaps, and I'm excited to own a physical copy!

I plan to have a new edit up sometime today! I'll work through the remaining requests first, then go from there. And I hope you enjoyed my digimon with hats posts on April 1st. It wasn't as elaborate as Pokemon With Shoes last year, but it's what I had energy for.

Apartment set-up mostly done! Got a TV stand yesterday, just need to set my consoles up and I'll be basically unpacked!

To celebrate finishing my phd program applications a few weeks ago, I ordered one of my all time favorite albums, The 5th Exotic by Quantic, on vinyl. And it finally came in today! So I'm taking a quick break from studying for finals to just relax and vibe to it.

Honestly, i think Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms, and Lava is my favorite King Gizz album. The cover art is fantastic as well!
