dreamtime | no longer accepting!
this isn’t the domain he knows, and yet it seems so familiar to him. winding pathways through caverns, an indoor waterfall with a pool beneath, a throne atop of it. he is in that pool, the water warm and comfortable, as he looks up at the female zora upon the throne. she’s small, young in this dreamscape, yet there are years of wisdom in her dark eyes.
he blinks at her tone, at the slight smirk taking her lips. she rests her chin on a fist, elbow on the large armrest of the throne.
“Shouldn’t you be working?”
she laughs, sitting up straighter. her feet are so very far from the floor, looking almost comedic on the oversized throne. She watches him for a moment, though her expression softens to seriousness.
“It’s okay. I didn’t train much, either. You can never be ready for when it happens. Maybe that’s his plan, to take us all off-guard... But I don’t see the big deal. He’ll be sealed away again and again. You just have to do your best.”
he wakes, slow, as if someone was prodding him, yet he’s completely alone. he’s fallen asleep in the pool of vah ruta’s belly, and he takes a breath as he pulls himself out of it.
he shouldn’t be sleeping. he has so much more to learn.
