What are the lamps in your house made of? Instead of being discarded in one of the world's ever-growing garbage heaps, empty metal containers were recycled into a very Earth-friendly lamp that actually works! This lamp was made from old coffee & tomato paste cans. The writing on the cans gives a clue about where in Africa the lamp was made. The French script suggests that it was made in a French-speaking country (due to being colonized by the French) such as Cote d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso or Senegal. This lamp was indeed made in Senegal.
