Refinishing the table was like childbirth. As I was going through the labor, I swore never again! What was I thinking? Not worth it. But when 'baby' was birthed at last and memory dimmed of the hard labor, I started looking around for the next project. Here it is. An old victrola my MIL picked up off the side of the street in someone's trash heap. I would have left it in the dark color but someone in its past had let blue spray paint overspray get on it. So had to sand it off. Think I'm leaving it two tone, though. Going to use it for a sofa side table. Found this adorable little guy on eBay. I have an affinity for foxes. I wanted, no, needed one for a succulent garden. I tried him out in several of my "gardens". He is so cute it was hard to decide where to put him.
