In an attempt to avoid the flooding of the Golden ward, Watanuki managed to escape with great effort; his clothing soaked from the waves which tried to pull the entire area into the depths of the ocean. Hoping to find solace someplace else, the shopkeeper was sorely disappointed to find that Archimedes was no better; perhaps, to some degree, it was even worse.
He couldn’t see a thing, vision obscured by the darkness of the clouds that loomed above him; by the wind and the rain which pelted against his frame despite his best efforts to find shelter. Guided only by the light of his phone, Watanuki pulled his arms around himself; grasping at the sides of buildings to keep him grounded-- until finally, he found light.
By the glow of red that surrounded her, Watanuki could see that it was a young girl standing mere feet away from him; however.. that which illuminated her showed off something he could not have expected to see. Canine like ears sat atop her head, with a tail to match; a feeling of something dangerous settling in his chest at the sight of her. If she no longer had restrictions on her abilities, that could only mean one thing: she had made her choice, and could potentially be someone who would seek to harm the innocent people of this place.
Perhaps it wasn’t a wise decision on his part to approach her, knowing his limitations were still fully in tact; but the shopkeeper chose to regardless, keeping a distance still away from the girl.
“.. have you decided to fight against our captors?” he called out to her, calmly; his voice stagnant against the raging winds that surrounded them. “I understand that this is a place none of us want to be; however.. you will have to pay a terrible price for taking their side.”

“...that’s new,” Schmendrick said more to himself once he spotted the rather large red feathered bird. He had found a bench to rest after a day’s performance work, dropping some bits of fruit and nuts on the ground for the park’s birds to snack on while he too helped himself to some.
Something was odd about the bird, though. It didn’t seem too particularly interested in the food.
