Less than a week since the convention, and I'm tired and injured and desperately working, and outright pining for at least half a dozen different people... Why can't we all live in the same city?

Back from redemption15 - must crash as I have 90 minutes' sleep in the past 48 hours, but I feel good, and will be posting about pointy things later. Including pics and video of me in borrowed Samurai armour.

Also, you Master fans missed out- a brief appearance by me as Twelve and aikainkauna as Missy in the bar- and nobody took any pictures!

There has also been some strife over the past year, between the Musketeers, the Cardinal's Guards, and one Girolamo Riario, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this turned to actual violence at the weekend... Know what I mean?

What *is* the activation code for the Emergency Holographic Fencing Jack-Of-All-Trades, again?

There's been a slight change to the SCA part of Redemption - the morning fencing session will now start with Lorenzo And Girolamo's Mythbladesters, in which I (and some glamourous assistants (if I can get any - and let me say I really hope Lynette is still up for this - we can talk longsword about Star Wars quillions) will do some practical demo stuff about the difference between media swordfights/choreography, how it would go down historically, and how groups such as the SCA and HEMA societies are doing stuff with it as a study and a sport.

This should both follow on nicely from my Fight Choreography For Writers item the hour before, and blend nicely into our SCA fencing. There will then be stuff about armoured combat in the second hour, and then both fencing and armoured demos in the afternoon...
