i wish i could make myself play rdr2 without feeling scared. I don't want to play as a violent man every again in a video game why do you keep making so many fucking games about them??????????????

I know fundimentally it is too much to ask from our society for an immersive video game starring a woman that's not trying to be system shock. But it fucking shouldn't be. I Just want like Milf Shenmue or onee majora's mask or Abenaki woman RDR2 I don't know.

It's the time of the year when I cosplaypost for a few days in a row and then never again for the rest of the year. anyway. guy whose name is John Marston (more under the cut I just didn't want selfies in the main post)

Y'know, what gets me about Edgar Ross... uhh, spoilers f'Red Dead Redemption.

What always gets me is that he fuckin'... let John live for about month (I'd say it was about a month, it coulda been longer, coulda been shorter, of course, as it's in-game times an' all that, but we're gonna say 'month' for convenience).

He gives John that false hope, let's 'im go back t' 'is family, imagine a future, try and rebuild his farm. Tell Abigail that it's over and genuinely believe it's over. Not even half an hour before his death John was imagining quail season with Jack for God's sake! That's what always gets me.

When I was younger, I used t' think it was just cruelty that made Ross do this. It is, but then I realised somethin' else...

Ross spent that month pretending t' track John down. He spent about a month just sittin' on 'is arse, I bet. He'd been doin' that for ages beforehand anyway, makin' John do his work.

He wanted the glory of the full set, everyone he could find from Dutch's Gang. Steal the credit for everyone, claim he shot Dutch van der Linde. He had the chance t' shoot John too, right there in the mountains. It'd've been an easy lie "John Marston was found with Dutch van der Linde and killed". but it wasn't just about the glory, it was also about gettin' away wi' doin' as little himself as long as possible for max glory.

After all, when John was gone, he had t' find another monster.
