Play Me by Kirko Bangz bumped threw my speakers in my car as I drove around town. I was mad as fuck. Its been about 3 months since I've been dating Maya, but I'm convinced she's cheating. I couldn't take it anymore. I had to go confront her.

I drove to Maya's house. I parked and got out, walking to the front porch. I knocked & Maya opened.

"Hey babe." She said with a smile on her face. I gave her a little kiss on the lips, walked in and sat on the couch. She actin' like nothin' happened last night. I thought to myself.

"Wassup" I said.

"What are you doing here?" She asked. "What, a nigga can't come to his girl's house?" I snapped.

She gave me a confused look. "Don't snap at me. I was just asking you a question. What's wrong with you?" She asked.

I took a deep breath and let out a long sigh. "Yo , are you cheatin' on me?"

She came and sat next to me. She hesitated , "U...uh, no babe. What's making you think that?"

"Let's ask that nigga that was chillin with you, callin' you baby all up in yo ear when I called you last night." I raised my voice.

"What guy?" She said quickly. "There wasn't no nigga in my house."

"Mayne, I didn't even say he was in yo house maya. That's how I know you lyin'." I said, letting my accent show more now that I was getting angry.

"Uhh...uhh.." She hesitated again.

* flashback *

I called up Maya since a nigga was bored on a friday night. I didn't want to go out, I just wasn't feelin' it .

I picked up my phone and tapped on Maya's name. After the second ring, she picked up almost sounding out of breath.

"Hello?" She said.

"Yo babe, wassup?" I said.

"Shit, I didn't even look at the caller I.D" I heard her say in a low mumble. I wasn't even finna question her on that. "Hey, wassup?" She said.

"What you doin'? A nigga is bored. Let me come by yo house. I miss you." I said.

"Uh, I'm kinda sleepy, I think I'm just going to go to bed." She said, studdering. " You can come by tomorrow though."

Just then I hear it. Another nigga's voice coming from Maya's background.

"Come on baby, lets get back to it. You got a nigga sweatin and shit 'cause of that pussy." I heard the nigga say.

"My other line is ringing, I'll call you tomorrow. Goodnight." She said.

I sat there froze. I didn't even take my phone away from me ear.Did I really just hear that?

* flashback over *

I was explaining to Maya everything I heard.

"Baby..I.." She started, but I cut her off. "Did you cheat on me?" I asked.

She sat there for a second, then slowly nodded her head. "Baby, let me explain." She said.

"Nah, mayne. Aint nothin to explain. Stop callin' me baby, too." I got up as she reached for my arm. I snatched my arm away and walked towards the door.

"Damien stop, come here." I heard her say.

I ignored her and walked out, slamming the door.This girl cheated.I said in my head.

I got in my car, started it, and drove off. Runnin' For You by Red Duce was blasting through my system in my car ;

Yea, everything will get better over time, but 'til then, I gotta stay on my grind. Aye it's hard to move on, I keep runnin' for ya, I keep runnin' for ya, I keep runnin for ya...

"The wrong songs are playin' on my radio, mayne." I said to myself.

I drove home, mad, but at the same time hurt. After waiting so long of waiting for her to be my girl, and after 3 months into is, she does this.
