Sometimes the long hikes back to these secluded lakes are totally worth it, this lake had some of the best panfish fishing I’ve come across in a while

A surprise little Redear Sunfish from a predominet Bluegill hole

These gorgeous little guys were set up in a shallow cove and had obviously seen many lures. I had to resort to using worms to get any of them to bite
