was listening to red hour and i might just be super insane but the lyrics invoked bladedance into me... "not the one i'm aiming for" and "dead eye" and then also tasting blood and "give me what i need" etc. so i'm kinda just wondering now if u had similar thoughts in your brain for both of them

they definetly occupy similar parts of my brain but blade dance is much more “real” on account of not being a narrative piece

Hey sorry if you already answered this. In kerosene you wrote “sanguine vanity” what definition of sanguine did you mean because when I google it I get optimistic, red, bloody, and blood thirsty. I’ve quite literally never seen the word elsewhere (yet) so it’s a bit lost on me

Hii, I LOVE Red Hour and just read the lyrics document for it and I cannot for the life of me hear the last part of the lyrics at the very end of the document in the actual song.

THIS PART. The lyrics sound so cool and I know they gotta be there somewhere buried in 10.000 layers of background vocals but I cannot actually make them out. Can we get the acapella for this part I would love to hear ittt :3

what's being sung in the background of the instrumental bit between the intro and first verse in red hour? i can make out the words "my catastrophe" so its probably a kerosene ref, but i can't tell what the rest of the line is

if you guys didnt know theres a track in red hour thats layered under all the vocals that is fuiro (whom is notoriously hard to tune) and it was tuned by @cocoacacao0 very beautifully (he also did the tuning for theory of i!!!!!!) and i wanted to show you guys how good it was please give him some love for it
