It had only been a week since Viv started her...adventure of sorts. She had been accused of murdering the mayor’s daughter. She didn’t do it, she would never do something like that; but the public didn’t care. There was practically a manhunt for Viv. So she ran. She went on the run while her friends and family searched for enough evidence to prove her innocent. 

She couldn’t get the headlines out of her head. ‘Android Hero Goes Mad!’, ‘Ultron’s Granddaughter Proves Her Heritage!’, ‘Young Heroine Murders Innocent Girl!’, and others. How could people honestly think this about her? After all the good she had done. Her head was swirling with thoughts.

It was while she was distracted that she accidentally bumped into someone. She jumped a bit but turned away, hoping the person did not see her. She pulled her hat down more onto her head and stated, “Pardon me.”

23. Absently tracing patterns on the nearest exposed skin

At some point Kara was sitting on a couch by herself, out of her armor. Jason had joined her, how he got in her place she wasn’t going to ask. The two are too much of friends to ask stupid questions. 

Her hand had found it’s way into his lap and he was drawing some kind of seemingly random pattern into the palm of her hand, wrist and arm. It was strange but not unpleasant so she didn’t say anything. 

It appeared both of them just needed the silent company.

Closed Rp with Red-Hooded

It was strange, walking around the city now. Where once there had been screams, now there was an unsettling nothingness, yet it was somehow comforting. He meandered to work, to his apartment, to the store. No one looked twice at him, and while it was an adjustment, he managed. Those first few weeks had been hell. He’d bought a gun, so intent on ending his own life. And then he’d found the park, peaceful and quaint, and for the first time in his life, he had found peace. He couldn’t go back to how things had been. He just couldn’t.

Jay hummed to himself as slipped through the crowds, large headphones covering his ears, playing focused noise loud enough to drown out everything else. It was one of the ways that he’d learned to cope, once the overstimulation was toned down, it was easier to stay lucid. The medication helped too, which is what he was headed for now. He paused at the doors to the supermarket as he bumped into someone, looking up apologetically.

“I’m sorry, sir!”
