                                                ❛ UH ----- some help would be good right about now, boy wonder,  ❜  she HATES these things. HATES. she honestly doesn’t know how he does it. was this apart of the whole adoption contract. must wear pixie boots && come to every lavish party ever thrown  ???  well she doesn’t remember EVER signing anything like that. && she’s being dragged by her dad to so many of these things. just so she can make weird small talk with old people && strange boys can talk to her in a manner that seems like flirting but sounds like DROWNING. 

                  she’s grabbed him by the wrist now, fingers pressing into his skin. she will not be letting him get away.   ❛ please, get me out of this place, some guy told me that i smell like bacon && look sizzling. ❜

                  the soft WARMTH of his hand brings her back. && for a brief few seconds her heart jumps to her throat. it’s been a good long while since she’s woken up in a hospital bed. since her eyes were greeted with that blinding light, her throat rough, && her legs numb for the very first time.  but she’s so very far from that —–  && so are they. 

             she gives his hand a small squeeze. her voice soft, but clear  ❛ how long have you been waiting on me, hunk wonder  ?  ❜ her eyes trail over his messy hair && sunken eyes ;; probably a while then. (  still cute  )  did he bring her here as nightwing ?? she looks down at the tray in front of her now.  ew. looks worse than what her dad makes.

           they’re side by side in an albeit cramped situation, but when breaking into any secret warehouse, that usually comes with the territory. what doesn’t, is whatever crap he’s trying to pull.  (  this limited amount of space between was distracting enough.  )  hence why she’s got that threatening little gleam in her eyes now. righting herself back up.    ❛ go on. I’ve been dying to get my hands on that bird butt. ❜ okay, you know what, it came out wrong. but she said it MENACINGLY, right  ???  he gets it. she’s gonna KICK him.
