You have a backpack purse???? AMAZING! Where can did you find it 👀
It’s a Travelon Anti-Theft bag . It looks sorta small from the outside but it has a ton of room inside, is slash proof, RFID-blocking and has lockable zippers. I bought it a year or so back as kind of a gift for myself for having a good few mental health months and it is ...so good. It is my constant companion.
@redbeanicecream hope you made it out alive last night

5. favourite song in your native language?
English is actually my native language, but have a song I like that’s popular and beloved in Malaysia :3
6. most hated song in your native language?
Balik Kampung. I don’t hate it as much as I….. groans quietly. It’s just one of those songs that’s carved into your brain after a bit.
8. do you get confused with other nationalities? if so, which ones and by whom?
I’ve been mistaken for Mexican before here lmfao, but usually Thai over there iirc. Half-American so guesses get a bit… confused. They joke that Filipinos are the Mexicans of Asia because of Spanish occupation, but people never guess that right.
18. do you speak with a dialect of your native language?
My mom figured it would be a guarantee that I’d go to America if I didn’t learn any dialect of Filipino, be it Tagalog (Tagalog is to Filipino as a ‘language’ as what Mandarin is to Chinese? If that makes sense?) or her native Visayan etc. Guess it worked, meeh.
Otherwise, while it’s extremely fun and rhythmic as a mesh of several languages, I can’t really speak the Malaysian creole ‘Manglish’ here. After four years here I’ve mostly outgrown my accent. I can’t really imagine speaking Manglish again easily since I’ve forgotten a lot of its ‘sound’ but would enjoy trying if I ever went back.
20. which sport is The Sport in your country?
Football holy shit. Like soccer-football. FIFA is no fucking joke you guys, get with the program.
24. what other nation is joked about most often in your country?
Lol Singapore. Between the ban on litter, chewing gum of any sort and durian fruit on public transport, Singapore is like the uppity successful cousin Malaysians like to shit on (and get shit from). Still think Malaysian street food is better.
You remind me of John from 100 Dalmatians 🐶💖 You like to have fun, you're a bot cheeky sometimes and you're an all around A+++ guy
Thanks! That’s really sweet.
…Who’s John?
Hey there Nikki 💛! Is there a song that you have been really digging lately??

A delightful and creamy red bean ice cream that blends the richness of milk and cream with the distinct flavor of red beans. Ideal for a cool treat with a hint of sweetness inspired by Asian cuisine.
Ingredients: 2 cups cooked red beans. 1 cup whole milk. 1 cup heavy cream. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Blend together cooked red beans, heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender. Blend until well combined and smooth. After transferring the mixture to an ice cream maker, follow the manufacturer's instructions for churning it until the consistency of soft serve is achieved. Once the ice cream is in a container with a lid, freeze it for a minimum of four hours, or until it solidifies. Enjoy the red bean ice cream that is served in bowls or cones!

🍂 Happy Fall! 🍦 As summer has now come to an official end, so will some of the seasonal treats until the warm weather returns. One of the stops we try to make it to every summer is this, the dollar ice cream, these are the #redbeanicecream and #greenteaicecream , from @randysicecream, the seasonal stand outside of #BoonChu in #elmhurst #queensny #nyc and besides being only $1 a cup (with $2 and $3 options if you’d like more ice cream or multiple types), the ice cream is VERY good, the red bean is especially delicious with nice chunks of red bean throughout. We took ours home with us hence the melt 🍨 What’s going to be your go to ice cream before the cold air comes through? Or be like Ashley and just screw convention and eat the most ice cream in the colder months when there’s no line 😂 #queenseats #queenseatsmust #randysicecream (at Randy's New York Ice Cream) https://www.instagram.com/p/BoFsMJPnn49/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1tp09qry0k3y3
