Not every legend is meant to comfort you. Some are meant to warn you. This piece is my interpretation of Baba Jaga, the ancient witch of Slavic folklore who lives deep in the forest between worlds. She’s often seen as a monster in stories… but like many old spirits, she’s something far more complicated. Baba Jaga represents the threshold between life and death, wisdom and danger, fear and transformation. The skulls crown her like relics of forgotten stories, while her steady gaze reminds us that the forest sees everything. This artwork explores the darker side of folklore—the side where knowledge is earned, not given. Got this NicoMaki chiffon top at RedBubble years ago but I realized I didn't really care much for the material. I wore this once or twice but when I did I would wear a shirt underneath because this material is so stiff and I didn't like it. I really like this shirt design though (for obvious reasons) so I decided to make it into a wall decoration basically.

You can also see all my precious µ's plushies on my ledge. They mean everything to me and I'm happy to own them for sure.
