Roselo
Ben defects to the light and decides the best thing he can do for the galaxy is to follow his uncle’s path into hermitage. Rose has other ideas
“You told me you wanted to make amends, to make good some of the wrongs you did,” Rose says.
“The best thing I can do is leave the universe to its own devices,” Ben retorts. “Rey told me Luke said that all the Skywalker’s ever brought the galaxy was pain and he was right. Let me rot here and you’ll have your vengeance”
“I don’t want vengeance!”
Ben scoffs, “Really? Your blood doesn’t boil everytime you see me? You don’t want a pound of flesh for every person I’ve killed and deprived you of?”
Rose clenches her jaw. “What I feel doesn’t matter! The first order is on its way to wipe us out and you have the resources to help us! Stop being a coward and try for once in your miserable life! You aren’t doing anyone a favour by hiding you’re just being self indulgent and selfish. Again.”
Ben’s eyes flash and she remembers just how powerful he is despite his vow not to use the force but it clears and for a moment Rose glimpse the Jedi he could’ve been.
“FIne,” he grits out, “show me what intrepid heroic plan you have cooked up that has a 1 percent chance of succeeding”
