Judgement day
On the corner of Knox and Travis in Dallas, Texas stands the redeveloped Weir’s Plaza. The office-oriented, mixed-use building stands 12 stories high with 297,000 square feet of retail and Class A office space. Redeveloped on the former site of the 70 year-old Weir’s Furniture Store, the building’s street level includes retail space with a clean and modern feel. The office includes a resort-style fitness center, a view of the Dallas skyline, and the building is five minutes away from the Katy Trail.
The exterior of the building includes 1,500 pieces of the original brick that was salvaged from the historic Highland Park Pharmacy, along with 20,000 custom bricks to bridge the new structure with the original 100 year old pharmacy building.
This project was designed by GFF and constructed by JE Dunn. It was redeveloped by Four Rivers Capital and leased by CBRE, with masonry by Dee Brown Inc.
