There’s much to do this week in terms of prisoner support and letter writing! We’ll have the December 2016 political prisoner birthday calendar (http://prisonbooks.info/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/ppbd122016.pdf) available, and will be making cards for Kinetik Justice, Ramsey Orta and Red Fawn Fallis.
Kinetik Justice continues his agitation against the prison world as he undertakes a hunger strike in response to being transferred to what is referred to as a “bully prison” in retaliation for his role in organizing the September 9th Prison Strike.

Ramsey Orta was present when NYPD killed Eric Garner, and Ramsey filmed the whole thing. Since then he himself has received much repression and brutality at the hands of NYPD, and is currently incarcerated.

Red Fawn Fallis is being held on $110,000 bail in Morton County as a result of her participation in the #NoDAPL struggle in Standing Rock, ND. Police are alleging that when she was tackled at a standoff, that she broke free of police constraint and used her left hand to shoot the officers’ weapon. Eyewitness accounts and video show otherwise. She is currently unable to send mail from jail, so lets send her some solidarity!
