✨What’s a fic you’ve posted you wish you could breathe life into again and have people talking about it? (or simply a fic you wish got more credit)
It was a tough one and that's also why I took so long to reply because my first thought went to "miserere mei di" that I wrote for the Good Omens fandom but it's discontinued and tbh I don't think I'll ever have the desire to finish it... Which is a bit sad, I wished I did better and could have finished that one ;;;
Aw thanks Foxy! I didn’t expect to get any, so that made me super happy! You’re so lovely ♥
📝 - Story from your childhood.
I’m guessing as, telling a story about something that happened to me when I was a kid, right? (hope I’m understanding that question right lgkj)
Here’s one of the things (which in restrospective could have turned very badly for me) that happened to me as a kid!
So I was lucky that my grand-parents really love skiing and could afford it. When I was a kid, they would usually bring my brother, my cousins and I with them to go skiing during winter vacations. And I was really young when I was first introduced to skiing (2, 3 yo). Basically what usually happened is that they would signed us up to get ski lessons with a ski instructor.
I can’t remember how old I was when it happened, maybe 5 or 6? I don’t know and I honestly I have no recollection of that memory, I just know about it because my grand-parents told me about it much later, but one day I was, well, with a bunch of kids around my age on one of the ski slopes, and I fell down.
I fell and I was unable to stand again, but the ski instructor didn’t notice I fell and just went ahead, with all the other kids, leaving me behind, alone. And when the lesson was over and my grand-parents couldn’t find me anywhere with all the other kids is when they realized “oops, we left one behind”. Fortunately the ski lesson was almost over when I fell and I didn’t stay on my own a very long time, and since I wasn’t too far away (ski slopes for kids are easy to get back to), they found me quickly. Nothing had happened to me, but yeah, that’s something that happened to me.
And in a way it’s really telling something about “kid-me” which is still true with “adult-me”: I’m a very quiet person (not just speaking, just in general. Sometimes I walk up to someone and I “scare them” because I make no noise at all and they only notice I’m here when they turn around and see me there. This happens constantly =“”D to the point that on more than one occasion, people have suggested I should wear high heels so that at least they hear the sound of the heels on the floor when I’m walking flgkj) and people don’t… notice me. I think it’s also all about “presence”. Some people have a “presence” about them. Like when they enter a room, all looks are instantly drawn towards them. And some people, like me, don’t really have any “presence”, I blend in a crowd extremely easily. And when something scares me or something happens to me, like in that story where I fell down, I don’t shout, I don’t scream, I don’t cry… Don’t have much surival instincts apparently lgjh
Anyway, thank you for asking, sweetie! Hope you enjoyed that little story from my childhood!
You fed the gremlins from AO3 with Very Good Writing after midnight. Probably expect more.

Me:
Thank you!!! XD
When I started out I never expected so many people to be interested in what I write.
It’s really inspiring for me to hear from people who genuinly enjoy what I write and to whom I can talk to and scream at over my very niche ideas.
Because let’s face it, some of the stuff I write is pretty niche. A slow burn character drama with politics that moves at the pace of a glacier? Who’s gonna read that? Turns out quite a few people apparently.
A thinking piece where Aranea ponders a story her people used to tell? Way more than I expected.
And all the background tales that don’t directly feature in the main stories but are referenced. The backstory of Gilgamesh, of Titus Drautos, the Galahdian tales.
@redfoxline replied to your post: it’s my cousin’s 5th birthday this weekend so I...
You will always gain a 5 year old heart with some Play Do. It never fails. :-)
I was actually just looking at play doh sets & of all the things in the right age range on amazon that’s the only one jumping out as something I’d have liked at that age so. I’ll go take a look, thanks for the suggest!
