Chapter 1- The Shirek and Cries For Help

He sat very quietly, hunched over his desk, in a slump, between his fingers a rather large needle with an ugly brown colored chemical mixture sloshing around inside was propped up onto his index finger and middle finger’s knuckles. He mumbled silently in German, in a defeated, yet satisfied tone. Had he finally found the correct solution? There was no way of telling yet. And of course, he didn’t want to kill himself accidentally while testing out the mixture. He thought to himself. Could he convince one of his teammates? Mm… No. He surely knew they would respawn a couple minutes later. He wanted this experiment to be as real as possible.

An evil, devilish grin spread across his face, stretching from ear to ear. He knew just who to test this on. His lab coat flew behind him, his jet black hair was straightened up and fixed, he pulled on a pair of latex, bright red surgical gloves. Dr. Ludwig Humboldt had done this many-a-times. He quickly grabbed a big turquoise, blood stained hospital bed, clearly specially made to hold down and restrain younger patients. He quickly positioned it so it was covered by the bright turquoise curtains in the middle of his medbay, shrouding the medical bed in privacy. 

His attention quickly turned to a large metal near the back right corner of the lab. He approached the door, making sure his footsteps were heard and echoed through the large piercing white room. He stopped in front of the door, it was covered in scratches and marks, it had looked like it had never been polished or wiped down in years. There were bloody prints all over the bottom of it, almost in a pattern. He looked at his barely visible reflection in the doorway, his smile still stretched across his face. He opened the door, like he had done many times before, revealing a small, crammed, dark abyss. He shifted his attention to the floor, beneath him were 2 visibly frightened boys. His boys.

The boys were 15 and 17 years old, the 17-year-old held the small, cowered 15-year-old tightly in a hug. Both were severely malnourished and starved, they wore oversized white, beaten and stained t-shirts with nothing else but a large diaper taped around the 15-year-old’s waist and a small pair of children’s underwear tightly wrapped around the 17-year-old’s bottom. Their bright blue eyes stared in horror at their father, as he peered down at them and said in a chilling, wicked voice. “Are you ready, Redginald?” The 15-year-old shivered and winced, frightened by the name.

“Come along.” The doctor grabbed the poor teenager’s arm, yanking him forward forcefully as he tried to pull him to his legs, Redginald’s legs buckled beneath him as he fell down to his knees. He whimpered in pain as his father scoffed. “Such a weak boy. You should be lucky I’m doing this to you.” The other boy, Valentin, peaked around the corner of the door, watching his younger brother get pulled away and dragged by the monster that was their father. Dr. Ludwig scooped the quivering, sobbing boy and dropped him onto the hospital bed. 

“Quit your crying boy. This is a new experiment. There’s a fifty percent chance you’ll die from zhis. And this time. I am not resuscitating you.” The doctor said immorally, flicking the large needle, making sure the chemical mixture oozed out of the tip correctly. Redginald whimpered quietly, pulling his weak, cowering up to his chest. “Awe, don’t be like zhat. It’ll be all over soon, zhat is, if you are lucky.” He grabbed the poor boy’s arm, yet again, pinning it to his side and he aimed the needle near an exposed vein in the crevice of Redginald’s arm. The boy panicked, pulling his arm away quickly, only to have the doctor fight back, pulling back in the other direction. Valentin watched in horror, knowing full well something bad was about to happen, he slowly tried to stand up, resembling a baby trying to stand for the first time, he wobbled and tried making his way over to help his little brother, when suddenly.

A loud crackle projected through the room! The young boy screamed and squealed in agony as he cried and held his arm, the doctor grabbed the boy’s face and yelled angrily at him “YOU IDIOT!” Redginald flopped onto his back, kicking and wailing in pain. Valentin stumbled back, falling flat onto his butt as he covered his ears and grimaced. Loud footsteps were rushing towards the lab door as 2 large figures approached.

The doctor knew his experimentation was over.

Will Scout approve Enguarde being qith Redgie and Radigan :3

Scout does approve of it! He's just very skeptical of Redgie. Redgie has a bad history of going on rampages on the battlefield and his anger is not to be tested, so there are points where Scout thinks that he could potentially hurt Enguarde. But with Radigan he'd completely chill with it! Radigan's a smart boy and Scout likes how kind he is :D
