Loon is, so far, the only character not on Owynn's team that knows he has evil intentions. And more than that, Owynn knows that he knows, and has threatened him into silence. Loon has all the power to ruin Owynn's plans, but none of the bravery to actually oppose him. Meanwhile, Owynn has all the reasons to get rid of Loon, but hasn't done that due to having other priorities. Very intriguing start for a toxic yaoi.

This ship has a lot of potential from every way you look at it. You want to interpret the shadows as trauma or mental illness? This ship represents the way traumatized people sometimes flock together because they get each other in a way that "normal" people can't get. You want to interpret the shadows as the "evil" versions of the characters? They're evil Golxy, and we LOVE Golxy in this household. You think shadows are their own people, separate from the "originals"? You can explore how their relationship parallels the one between Golden and Fox, and how they formed a romance instead of the rivalry their counterparts have.
