Day 8 Growing up I really loved reading reprints of old pulp magazines. Weird Tales, Amazing, SciFi Anthology et al. Writers like Heinlein, Asimov, EE Doc Smith, Lovecraft and of course Robert E Howard, creator of Conan and my subject today Red Sonja. Now back in the 70s Marvel Comics would set the most famous look for her with the famed "battle bikini". The character however as written by Howard was a swashbuckling heroine and dressed quite a but differently.
