Another 2.8 for the books on day 11!
Today was day nine of my "Run Every Day in July" challenge. Also, oddly enough, the beginning of week two. Week 1 was an intro. In week two, we get serious. I need to incorporate strength/resistance training into my workouts. Also, my diet could use some improvement. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday. So Monday-Thursday will be a intensive intro to my new eating habits. I'm gonna cut out (for the most part) carbs, and focus on veggies, fruits, and protein. Obviously, runners can cut out carbs completely, but I'll stick to healthy ones at least. I love my total of 30.9 miles so far, but the scale isn't budging, and it's time to change that.
A solid 2.4 for day 9. I just wish the scale would budge.
Guys... I ran 28.5 miles this week. That's almost 30 miles! Next, I GOTTA start doing weights/resistance training. Need to start working on these abs!
8.5 miles on my day off. Thought it was 11, but still decent mileage.
Whoops! I tripped and fell... 3 more miles. 😂 Day 6 done, and right before sunset!
Day 5: 5 miles! How ironic.
Happy America Day! 3 miles.
