Nice to see you're finally on Ao3! I'm having trouble finding your fics because of server overload but rest assured I'll give my faves a like and fave once search is back up. For the record, you can treat Ao3 tags pretty much like Tumblr tags. That is to say, you can tell the readers more upfront what the story will be like in a way that the summary generally doesn't. You can also insert some humor into it if you'd like. See ao3tagoftheday on tumblr for examples. Ranges from fun to cute to edgy.
Got it! I’ve been using my tags there with a bit of fun ~
"what do you assume about me based on my art style?" I don't actually know if this is correct or not but I'd assume you use a mouse and are either very stubborn, very cheap, or some combination of the two
iehjkefhdkjdf i use a tablet! but i do also post drawings i made on my phone here too... in which case i use a finger, i guess?
Will you still be covering SAGE this year?
I should have replied to this when you first submitted it, which was a week before SAGE, but I was lazy about asks then. Anyway, yes, I covered SAGE. Or, at least, I reviewed all the games. And I do mean all of the games – for the last few years review duties have been split by Louis and I at TSSZ, but he’s off shooting video at NY Comic-con so it was on me to handle review duties alone.
That’s actually not a complaint. Sharing the duties with Louis always made me get kind of lazy? Because it gave me this 24 hour cushion. Tackling 40+ games myself, I actually did my best to stay on top of things and I usually had 2+ articles scheduled to post ahead of time.
Anyway, here’s links to everything and what games are in them:

There was a grand total of one game I didn’t review because its booth page went to a 404 not found.
This time, I went out of my way to make sure that hopefully all of the games I reviewed will continue to have functioning download links after the booths page closes. SAGE is typically a website, and when the website goes away, so do the downloads. This year, booth pages just forward either to SFGHQ or the creator’s own personal site, which is what I’ve chosen to link. Hopefully those should stick much longer.
Hana, I just saw the Revue Fairytale AU wordcount preview. I was impressed five years ago by your writing stamina and I'm still impressed now. Just. Wow.
KAJSDDKFNG tHANK YOU ahahahaa!
I think it has something to do with the fact that in this case, all 4 chapters are their own little stories. Usually in multi-chapter fics that’s all the same plot, my chapters taper out around 3 or 5,000 words per chapter, but when they’re all their own stories, I can go off 10k+, easily.
I read your Elden Ring fic. I don't know exactly what emotions it gave me but it gave me a lot of them and I'm at a loss for what to do right now.
that's the goal!
Re: tagging ships. Idk if you've answered something like this before and tumblr mobile doesn't exactly make it easy find out. If your story has an ensemble cast and explores multiple combinations of ships over an incredibly slow burn, would you still tag *all of them*—even the side ships or ships that are just a brief fling lasts for less than half an arc? I've half a mind to cull the tags in one of those fics of mine and I'd like multiple opinions
From what I’ve seen through this blog, the main ships would be tagged in the Relationship tags and the others would be put in the “additional tags”. Possibly with something like “X/Y-mention”
Basically, people often search a ship tag. If you shipped that ship, would you be satisfied with the amount of “screen time” in the fic? Then it’s probably a Relationship tag. If it would be the equivalent of 5 minutes in a season of 22 episodes, then no.
Let’s see what everyone else thinks though :)
Hey, this is the keyboards/chuuni reviewer. Hi yeah. Remember when I said I'd try to finish Renegades before your Keyboards hiatus ended? Yeah, never ended up finding the time for that. I'm not even caught up on Keyboards either. I'll get back to it eventually. Anyway, you PM replied to my review on your old chuunibyou fic and said you might watch season 2? Lemme give my recommendation: it's not necessarily better than season 1 but there's definitely more genuine Nibutani in it.
Oohhhh no rush on reading things, they arent going anywhere!!
And okay! I might try out s2 sometime if I find the time. Winter anime 2019 is looking kinda dull so I might watch chuuni2 then.
