Eyes would turn to the one addressing her. Tone so casual, words so obvious. Temptation to remark in sarcasm was rather irresistible. ❝ Would anyone wander with a sword at the hip for simply aesthetically looks? Having no grip of the weapon would only be a disadvantage to one self, especially in moments of evacuation. ❞ 

A answer far more analytic then the stranger would have expected, yet it would be far less offensive then it was originally meant to be.

Relationship Headcanons || Not Accepting! @rednephilim

Vanessa and Dante definitely talk shit about some of the people who come to the class. Mostly the ones who think they know everything or think Vanessa is unqualified.

Vanessa whines a lot about how it’s unfair she can’t leave marks on Dante since his wounds heal pretty fast. He gets a chuckle out of the little pouts she makes at him.

Vanessa is pretty accepting of Dante being a Nephilim. She doesn’t really care for his past, all she cares about is what he’s doing now. And as far as she’s concerned, he’s a hero in his eyes. An unorthodox one, but a hero nonetheless. 

Dante is surprisingly gentle with her. She gives him a bit of teasing about it, but she adores the way he treats her as more than eye candy. She loves that he respects her prowess as a fighter.

Vanessa had told her most recent student to take a break for a bit, so she was currently sitting in the break room, when she opened her phone to a message. Lo and behold, it was Dante, wearing absolutely nothing.

Vanessa was sitting at the table, idly eating some of the Chinese takeout they had ordered earlier. Dante had been opening up a bit about his past, about who he was. Admittedly, coming to terms with dating a nephilim had been a shock, but this was Dante. She trusted him.
