when she first met the Weasleys she was DETERMINED to get them to like her
after marrying Bill, of course her in laws soon started to adore her because they finally got to know her after making hasty judgments
Charlie is a huge fan of Fleur, literally telling Bill ‘this girl is your literal soulmate, please marry her’. Whenever Charlie visits, Fleur is thrilled because he’s Bill’s best friend so she loves to gossip with Charlie about their childhood. Not only that, but she finds Charlie just fascinating. Like the fact that he works with dragons is just so mind blowing for her. It was also Fleur who finally told Mrs. Weasley to leave Charlie alone about finding a wife, that if Charlie is happy, then she should be too.
She clicked with Percy almost immediately. Percy would sometimes crash on Bill and Fleur’s couch after the Battle, and she always left out some blankets and tea for him. Percy also really wanted to learn French so she taught him a little at a time. After a few years, he could communicate with her in French with fragmented sentences and it made her so happy because someone wanted to learn from her
Fred and George were closer in age to her (which is actually so strange to think about??) so the three of them got along really well too. When Fred died, Fleur always made sure that George had someone to talk to no matter what. Being closer in age meant gossiping a lot and making fun of the older Weasleys for getting old when they hit certain ages. They grew apart as time went on, but whenever they saw each other they loved to joke about old times
She and Ron weren’t as close either, but Ron never forgot about how she helped him during the War. She was always willing to give him advice about anything he needed and he always made a joke about Bill to get her to laugh.
after Fleur married Bill, Ginny realized how great it was to have a sister. She apologized for the way she treated Fleur, and Fleur forgave her. The two had an inseparable bond and tended to go out a lot. Even after having kids, they found time for the two of them to just hang out
Fleur and all of her sisters in law got a long well too. She, Angelina, Hermione, and Audrey always joked about how they were Ginny’s sisters and how if it weren’t for them, Ginny would still be the youngest of 6 boys. She adored her sisters in law, really, and loved spending time with them. They had a Weasley girls night at least once every few months just to catch up and talk and gossip about their husbands and children.
Fleur and Harry were close too, her never forgetting that he saved her sister and Harry being forever grateful for helping him.
