For just $219.00 SO CUTE! Red and Beige Vintage 1954 Westinghouse Model H-598P4 AM Tube Retro Radio No Cracks Works Great! DESCRIPTION: Is this little radio cute or what! Beautiful glossy Westinghouse vintage radio with adorable golden metal handle that folds down and out of the way. All stations up and down the dial come in loud and clear. So retro! No cracks, chips or major scratches which is uncommon for any portable. Cabinet is rare original factory molded red and cream beige plastic color combo. This is the most desirable color combo for this model in my opinion. Hinges are intact no cracks. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is almost 65 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial is original and in good condition. The tuning dial is solid no slipping. Volume knob turns on with a definite click and rotates freely. No finger nail gouges and excessive wear along the serrated edges which is common due to normal use. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. This radio can run on batteries or AC power. Batteries might be a little tough to find for these old radios although they are still being manufactured. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. you went as you arrived, you left me quickly, you left me many time before when I thought it would kill but it did not and you returned.
now i have turned off the red radio and somebody in the next apartment slams a door. the incident is final: I will not find you on the street or will the phone ring, and yet each moment will not let me be.
it is not enough that there are many deaths and that this is not the first; it is not enough that I may live more days, perhaps, more years.
