Imogen: pulled herself together, not needing to have Eli see her cry. Things were still tense between them, but she needed to see him. If anything, maybe it would give her some closure. After sending him that last message, Imogen stood up, making her way across the room to her makeup stand. She did her best, attempting to mask the dark circles and bags under her eyes and add some color to her face. Even though she had been open about how heartbroken she had been, she didn't want him to see it. Doing a quick check in the mirror, Imogen deemed herself okay for the video chat and sat back down on her bed, in front of her computer. She clicked the icon next to his name, her heart racing as she heard that familiar ringing, and though part of her wanted to end the call and try getting to bed on her own, she couldn't bring herself to do it. All she could do was wait for him to answer.
