30 Day Music Challenge - Day 3: A song that reminds you of summer Martin Solveig - The Night Out is the track that demolished my summer. My friend Redsean gave me a copy of his "short attention span vol 1" mix at 4 am on a tuesday last August, and I've been bumping it on the regular ever since. The Night Out was the first track in that mix, and even from the first few seconds, I get all nostalgic for cruising around at 3 AM on warm Texas nights, getting drunk on patios in my neighborhood, and weekend roadtrips to Austin to see a former lover. Short attention span vol 2 isn't uploaded anywhere anymore (I don't think), but Redsean really has mastered the summer driving vibe that I just love. no runner up today - this track sums up all of my feelings about summer. <3
