-Siiigh- “Reddington, I admire your passion but sometimes you make such a mess.” The dreamon of false awakening wiped some dust away from his glasses before returning them to their original place. “I try to handle these situations with subtlety but my office has been reduced to rubble, my employees severely injured and still facing further injury so now I have to be a little more obtuse. You and I are going to have some words after this, Reddington.”
A ring of yellow that could be described as a Dreamon’s version of the face of a clock manifested and swirled into being behind the Director of the Yellow Dept. His eyes began to softly glow with the same hue.
The hands on the chest eye began to tilt ever so slowly then gain momentum until they were spinning rapidly.
Seconds began to whiz by in reverse and cracks began to reseal themselves, mimics reorient themselves, fallen paintings quickly hover back into their place.
Even more strange employees began to reverse walk back into the dept. The incident with Oogie played in reverse as the rubble lifted off of them and they were perfectly fine once more. The panic subsided as everyone was back to work.
Everything was as it was before this madness.
Employees looked around with stark confusion as just a second ago some were rescuing other employees, while other contemplating how to escape and now everything was normal.
“Was it a dream?”
“But I remember it too...everything was wrecked.”
“Whats going on??”
Vann eyed his surrounding before his eye landed on a familiar little shadow. “Oogie!!? You’re okay??”
“Y-y-yea...I-I can feel my legs again?”
“Time has been rewound 5 minutes before Red’s destruction in the Yellow Dept.” Yelloneus’ calm and mostly monotonous voice clearly sounded over the confused mutterings. Slowly his employees gathered around here seeking clarification.
“What do you mean?” Nadia asked politely.
“The best I can do to assist you is give you the benefit of a heads up and time to prepare. This dept. has been returned to its state 5 minutes prior to when the building began to collapse. The rest of the building remains in shambles but now you know what you will be faced with and hopefully can help you better navigate this current travesty. I apologize that you have to go through this.”
“Cant’cha just rewind time back to before any o’ this happened??” Chim chimed in.
“Unfortunately your world’s time is a very fragile thing. While we dont have time to waste to go into details I’ll say that using them on a small scale is enough to cause anomalies, escalating that use could cause far more greater damage. Not to mention it wont affect my brother Reddington so either way...”
There was a solemn silence over the crowd.
“Fret not, you all display exceptional skills, you would not be here if you did not. Please, find the exit, escape to safety or help the others if thats your wish. I must also assist others still trapped. I’ll see you all again soon.”
As the city seemed like it was the in the middle of the very Apocalypse, Tix sat in her apartment, entirely oblivious to what was going on outside of her window.
Once again she had found herself frustrated with the obligations and limitations of reality, and was currently living out a fantastic story inside an incredible musical universe, filled with bards and warriors and dragons. The many voices of the acapella filled her ears with intense and exciting lyrics and beats, that made her an actual, physical part of the story that unfolded itself through the songs.
In the real world, the blaring sirens, the foul smell of smoke, and the cries for help could be heard in the distance. But in Tix's mind, the chaos at the REM building was non-existent.

Lionel padded down the empty, and crumbling hallways, light on this feet but still ever so cautious. The constant rumbling, and panic of monsters around him, did not settle his nerves but he had to stay calm and strong.
“This is Ottaviani. All seems clear here, but doing a triple check. Over.” He spoke into his walkie-talkie, to the rest of Blue Team. He could feel it in his gut, there was something wrong here.
“H-hello?,” He called out into the now empty offices, “If there’s anyone still here, you need to come with me. It’s not safe to be in here.”
Dust. Smoke alarms, warbled and distant. And screaming, lots of screaming. Dumplin’s hearing could pick up everything, the foot steps, the howls of pain and fear. Someone was yelling that they had their foot caught in a collapsed door. Another couldn’t feel their legs.
Dumplin’ peered out from under the heavy iron pylons and flooring she was still stuck under and then closed her eyes.
Slowly, she began to grow. She felt the rubble start to crush her even more and she gasped, but then the heaviest parts, the metal and wood, fell away from her backside. Once she was free, she slunk away through the growing dust clouds and rubble and made her way towards yellow.
‘I have to find Gall.’ she thought, limping off a hind leg and wing.
Blubert: ATTENTION BLUE DEPT! We have a serious situation on our hand. We are entering code Red so pay close attention to what I am about to say!
Blubert: This rumbling that you feel appears to be coming from the Red Dept. While it would normally be best to investigate this if my hunch is correct then we have no spare time. It appears that Red has become enraged and when that happens he will blindly tear down anything and everything in his path. He has the power to bring down this entire building with everyone inside so the employees of REM are in serious danger.
We need to evacuate everyone immediately.
Blubert: HERE ARE YOUR ORDERS!
You are to go through the building and evacuate every employee. Make sure they exit the building and get to a safe distance. If its not too late start with the Red Dept. and get everyone out there and work your way up. While there is bound to be some panic do your best to have everyone escape in a calm and orderly fashion.
The tremors will likely cause unstable flooring and debris to come from the ceiling and walls so please be careful.
Do not worry about the Dept. Heads. I will alert them to the situation and have them assist in the evacuation.
NOW MOVE OUT!!
@throughfireandthread“It just feels like when one disaster is over theres another right behind it. Villains, babies, and then what? Im sorry I dont mean to complain. Maybe everything will be relatively normal after thi-”
“MOTHIMER IM SORRY I KEEP DOING THIS AND I PROMISE ONE DAY WELL HAVE PROPER TEA TIME BUT MY WORK IS LITERALLY ON FIRE SO I GOTTA GOOO!!!!!!! THANKS FOR THE TEAAAA!!!”
Fairy zipped out of the good host’s abode and flittered their way over to the Monster Office at a blinding speed.
It didnt take long for the lil firefly to reach their workplace, normally a happy gigantic mimic watching over the townsfolk and now a column of smoke.
Near the entrance they located a few MO employees as well as Greegori, the Head of the Green Dept, directing escaping employees to safety.
“Greegori what happened?!!” Fairy blurted while staring terrified at disaster before them.
“...Red got angry..” Greegori said softly still waving incoming employees o the crowd gathering at a safe distance outside the building.
“Oh.” Was all Fairy could say as they needed to hear no more, they were very familiar with Reddington’s temperment. “What about the employees? Is everyone okay? Is anyone injured???”
“Yes...” Greegori said lowering their head slightly with a slight wilt in their voice..”They need help...they need shelter.” The green giant lifter their head away from the building and at the empty space between them and the crowd.
They began to lift their hands and tail as a soft green light started to emanate from them. A little distance away the pavement began to crackle and split as tiny buds rose from the small mounds of rubble.
The sprouts began to rapidly grow quickly becoming large wooden trunks intertwining with one another, beginning to form a structure as leaves and flowers bloomed from the bark and provided shade and privacy from the gawking crowd.
“There...” Greegori sighed as they lowered their hands, their work begin finished. “Fairy...please help direct injured employees into this tent for now.”
Fairy immediately poofed into a slightly larger form as to be more visible to the panicking employees and donned their safety suit.
“ILL BE THE BEST SAFETY DIRECTOR PERSON! YOU CAN COUNT ON ME!!” They shouted waving their sign and already directing oncoming employees.
Greegori smiled slightly, grateful for the assistance. “Thank you...” They nodded before turning around and heading towards the smoking building.
“HHEY! W-WAIT! Greegori! Where are you going..? Wont the employees need your help??” Fairy asked with concerned unsure of what to do if the residing doctor was away.
“I will attend to everyone when I return.” Greegori spoke calmly to settle the small jellybean’s nerves. “ If any nurses exit, have them attend the wounded. There are still employees inside and I am one of the few who can help. As Head it is my duty to ensure everyone gets out...I’ll be back..”
Fairy paused but nodded understanding that against Reddington’s wrath, the Dreamons were going to definitely need to be present as a last line of defense for the employees. There was no time to dwell on the chaos at hand though this Fairy had a job to do. Quickly they puffed their cheeks and began to blow loudly into their summoned whistle.
“ALL INJURED EMPLOYEES PLEASE HEAD TOWARDS THE GREEN TENT!!! ALL NURSES PLEASE ASSIST THE WOUNDED UNTIL GREEGORI RETURNS!!!!!!!”
