i've had a shit ton of people pissed off at me the past few weeks just because I didn't know how to do something and they thought I was pranking them I'm just like "no i actually have nO FUCKING CLUE HOW THE FUCK THIS WORKS YOU HAVE NEVER TOLD ME HOW TO USE THIS AND I'VE NEVER SEEN YOU USE IT I DO NOT JUST KNOW HOW TO DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I'M OLDER I DO NOT HAVE MAGIC POWERS THIS IS LIKE TAKING A 41 YEAR OLD WHO'S NEVER SEEN A CAR BEFORE AND TELLING HIM TO DRIVE YEAH, HE SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO IT BUT NOBODY FUCKING GAVE HIM THE MEMO" but I don't say that because I'm way too fucking lazy to deal with the rebound

okay so let me just take a second

I’ve done quite a bit of thinking recently. I voice my thoughts (and insecurities) occasionally but most of the time I keep em to myself. But this one’s a bit too true to really keep to myself. What I’ve realized is that me and my friends have a weirdly mature outlook. I know that might sound a bit stupid and pretentious, but we really do. We talk and think about shit most high school students don't, and we started that in 7th grade. The reason I do it is because my parents treat me like an adult and I know the expectations, the reason L does it is because he's a stupidly good student so he's hanging out with adults most times, and the reason Av does it is probably because he hangs out with us so much. Another reason is probably all of the self-aware content we absorb on a daily basis. There are other people I don't really feel like specifying, but those 3 bases are covered. To be honest, it's really weird. We've basically skipped over the "typical" high school mind set and skipped into adult-y thought process. Not to mention our constantly growing talents we've poured our hearts into. To be honest, I doubt most 13 year olds have learned animation software, or even tried to learn a coding language. Or learned to play and compose music for more than 5 instruments. The first things listed are what I do, and the music is L. Av is trying to make music (give him shit tons of support if he releases any btw, it takes balls to put yourself out there) using FL studio. He's also trying his hand at YouTube, and it's fucking hilarious. But where he lacks in talent, he makes up for in being a cool dude. Honestly, we're really ahead of the curve here. We do shit most adults would dream of, and we're barely teenagers. This is kind of me bragging, but it's more just me being dumbfounded at how we've gotten here at 13 when there are morons out there who don't understand their own business model, morons who don't understand what oppression is, and people who don't understand anything running for president. Call us privileged little fucks if you want, we're taking that privilege and working with it to do good things.
