Queer isn't a slur, it's a gender identity and/or sexual orientation.

queer is a slur.

it was originally a word that was used to attack and bring down others. this slur has been reclaimed by some, but not all. it’s a popular slur especially in the south, regarding America. in places like the UK, it’s not regarded with the same severity.

I do not want to be called queer.
