Annoyance is the mother of repurposing. There are some foods that seem to be overbought and underused around here. Especially tomatoes of the grape, cherry, etc. variety. They get all shriveled and then someone inevitably tosses them. . “So...” he thought to himself, “How hard can it be to make sun-dried tomatoes?” Not too hard at all, it ends up. Especially when you have the ready to go SoCal hot, dry, and sunshine-rich environment.
