Our thoughts based around our cultural beliefs are very much the catalyst for us holding on to negative emotions and struggling with anxiety. Those thoughts tie us into a set of beliefs that donât form part of the spiritual process.
Sadly, walking a cultural path, doesnât allow us to question why weâre taking that path and whether that path will help us on our own personal inner-journey. It never can. But we can let go of negative emotions and anxiety, by letting go of our conditioned beliefs and false thinking that tie us into our lives.
We must learn to channel our inner-thoughts, paying attention to what is going on inside our head, so that we become aware of our inner-dialogue. We must take a journey of self-exploration where we learn to concentrate on ourselves and use our emotions in a way that allows us to get to know ourselves better.
Once we also let go of the clutter that creates anxiety and we take a more spiritual path, we can begin to concentrate on the âwhole.â We must continue to simplify our life by removing the physical clutter before we can create better mental health. We must also think about the invisible force thatâs around us and learn to bring empathy, compassion, tolerance and patience into the equation, so that those things become a part of us.
Feeling connected to something bigger than us, gives us a purpose and brings a sense of meaning into our lives. When we start to understand that everything around us is aligned and we know that âthings happen for a reasonâ we will start to take control of the things within our reach and will let go of the rest.
Being spiritual is a lifestyle choice that needs to have these values incorporated if it is going to work. The thing about spirituality is that kit keeps our lives real and that helps us connect back with our higher selves.
And speaking from my own experiences, when we have learned to accomplish it, it really does make a big difference.
