Enjoy the rich flavors of grilled beef tenderloin that has been marinated in red wine and paired with garlic and rosemary. This dish goes great with a glass of the same red wine that was used in the marinade. Each bite makes the meal more enjoyable.
Ingredients: 750ml dry red wine. 2 lbs beef tenderloin. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tbsp olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh rosemary sprigs.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Rub the beef tenderloin with this mixture thoroughly. Place the beef in a zip-lock bag, add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary, and pour in the red wine. Seal the bag and marinate the beef in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Grill the beef for about 6-8 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Let the beef rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve the grilled beef with your favorite sides and a glass of the remaining red wine.
