The world as we know it

A few years ago all the world was ablaze with the Arab Spring. Somehow we all knew that this is going to happen, the big 2012 prediction, the world's going to end, but I didn't think like that, I thought 2012 meant the world was going to change, and so it did. With all these changes we saw the power of you for social movements. We saw that race, religion,creed, nationality didn't divide young people, it brought us together to make changes in the world. Even now is Egypt's works to makes it new identity, Libya fights to keep itself together and Iraq and Syria of being molded into something that they don't choose to be, youth still have to biggest voice in what's going to come with the future. The world is in turmoil, but we do not fear what will come next week, we believe that this is the end of the old layered on top the beginnings of the new. A vision of us becoming not just nations on this planet but one nation of humanity. Of course many will try to clean to the vestiges of the old but eventually they give way as new trains of thought come to be embraced by all. Is these new captains of industry these new movers and shakers these new visionaries these new artists these new musicians these new professors these new lectures that will move beyond what is always been set in stone as the markers of the troubles of humanity. I like to see this as the new Harlem Renaissance, the new birth of a nation, the new industrial revolution. In the last 20 years we have innovated more, invented more and dreamed more ideas then any other time in history. We will continue to do more all that has come for us. We will take the diamonds in the rough and shine them. We will truly show what he humanity has to offer.

The Return

Its been so long, the last time I have addressed the #RedWingBootGang was last year. But I am back now in print form and with my over packeted life i will be posting far more in print for my final year in college as i have taken on the mantel of Editor In Chief of State Magazine and will be working on my writing so i will be trying out my letters from the editor and interview pieces out with you guys. Ladies don't worry i have been in close contact with #LipstickAndLables and she will be renewing her blogging along with me. so lets get ready to be young and fearless

A year today I lost my homie Jose. Even though he's gone, his words & spirit lives with in us all. That spirit that tells me to keep striving & hustle harder every single day.
