Hellboy Commission. 11 x 17 on Bristol board. I ink with a Raphael 8404 Martre Solinsky #2 brush and Highins Black Magic India ink. Inking with a brush is (in my opinion) a lifelong pursuit. I studied mainly 20th century artists. Alex Raymond, Milton Caniff, Al Williamson, Johnny Craig, Wally Wood, Frank Frazetta, Reed Crandall, later on people like Neal Adams, Tom Palmer and Dave Stevens. Really too many to mention. Lately it seems like a lot of people are inking with Pitt pens and the like.
