Promised I'd write, here's some Reeid on drugs (woah, swtor making a comeback all of a sudden).
He takes three doses of the drug instead of the recommended zero. There was a time when experiments meant something. He can’t remember when that was.
The heaviness of inebriation takes him by surprise, and he drops into an awkward half-leaning, half-sitting position. The lights are far too bright. Have they always been this bright?
“Your move,” says his father. Reeid looks down at the board and considers his options. Two available moves. One safer than the other. He takes the chancy play, and realizes too late that his father has outwitted him by carefully positioning a knight in such a way that would capture Reeid’s pawn in the occasion that Reeid would choose to take that risk.
“Patience,” his father says, watery eyes never leaving the board. “Chess is a game of patience, Reeid. Never take a risk, no matter how early in the game it is.”
The lights are far, far too bright.
“Checkmate,” says the devil’s pet, her lips the color of blood. “He misses you,” she adds, words that burn through him like acid.
She never said that, he argues with his memory.
He staggers over to the bed, but drops to his knees before he reaches it. The room is spinning, the lights too bright. The devil has red eyes, and he holds Reeid against a wall, threatens to hurt him. Reeid can smell him – a strange mix of machinery and sweat, and something else…something familiar and comforting. Something Reeid remembers all too well, holding onto a uniform, breaking glass and shoving it against a thin, pale neck. This is what you like.
He is fairly sure his skin is melting - the lights too hot, like lasers. He shuts his eyes against the pain, and finds himself in a laboratory, their laboratory, a smile on his face, the contented silence of a steady hand, a freckled face, success on the first try. He wants to reach out and touch him, but he can’t. There is an invisible glass wall between them. The worst kind of wall.
He misses you.
Reeid will never see him again. “Patience is a virtue,” reminds his father. Reeid shakes his head, clawing at his hair, his cheeks, his eyes. The lights are too bright. He crawls across the floor, to nowhere in particular, vaguely aware that someone (he) is screaming. "If they find you, they’ll kill you," she'd said, reveling in it.

Bro I can hook you up with armoring and mods, just LET ME KNOW. <3
I mean, if you want to, then I'll save my coins! He just needs a uniform of some sort, honestly. It's just embarrassing for him lol I just haven't been able to get one yet in-game that has the right stats...
when you mail it to me tho you gotta say with love from Kovin that's all I require
Now that I'm back in America and Jack watches tv all the time I keep seeing ads for whatever-the-fuck that show is that Matt Bomer is in and I just want to hug the screen like "REEID BABY U LOOK GOOD IN THAT SUIT" but uh that would be weird.
Allright it's time to power level Reeid I really need to get him the hell out of that hockey goalie yellow-green outfit it's not nearly sophisticated enough I have a feeling he's not happy about it.
Set 1 of the 30 Days of Character Development Meme: Answers to Questions 1 and 2/4 (I combined them). Answered for my three swtor characters: Sabrini (Jedi Knight), Reeid (Imperial Agent), and Jurrian (Sith Inquisitor).
1. Family
Sabrini: Sabrini grew up in a loving family with a mother, father, and older sister (Lydia) until she was 8 years old. At 8, her parents discovered her Force sensitivity and shipped her off to the Jedi (her parents were thrilled: even though they knew they'd likely never see her again, they were very proud to have a potential Jedi in the family). Though 'Rini has fond memories of her family, she tends to consider the Jedi Order her "true" family now (they basically raised her anyway, and she takes the general Jedi doctrine to "separate one's self from one's blood relatives" fairly seriously). Despite doing a fairly good job of cutting ties from her family and living the ideal "Jedi life", Sabrini does think of her sister from time to time and the best-friendship they could have had. Sabrini and her sister do write occasionally, as Lydia is a Republic diplomat on Coruscant and often finds out useful information (that she thinks the Jedi Order ought to know about). Sabrini knows that her sister has since married and had children; she refuses to visit them in person, though, out of fear that she might really like them. As a Jedi, she just does not want to take that chance, make that emotional connection.
Reeid: Reeid comes from a single-parent home; his father raised him. Reeid's father
Reeid never knew his mother, and has no desire to find out anything about her. Despite all of the Imperial intelligence at his command, he has absolutely no feelings towards the matter one way or another. His mother isn't someone who matters; she's just another human, dead or alive, somewhere in the galaxy.
Jurrian: Jurrian is Chrispistols' Noemme's little brother. Stay tuned for more info, Chrispistols and I have yet to discuss their family dynamic in more detail. One thing is for sure: Juri loves his sister and looks up to her; he sees her as his role-model (this is how I envision it anyway). Maybe he has kind of an older sister complex, who knows :3
2. Vanity (a.k.a Physical Appearance)
Sabrini: Sabrini is gorgeous and doesn't know it. Have you ever met someone just so totally stunning but they just have absolutely no clue that they are? Well, that's 'Rini. If asked, she'd tell you she was plain; in truth, she's one of the most unique and pretty Mirialans out there (that's not just her creator talking I swear). That being said, as a Jedi she doesn't really spend much time on her appearance or clothing or hair: it's just not part of the job description. Sabrini's most prominent features are her stunning amethyst-colored eyes (which match her similarly colored hair). She tends to get a lot of attention for her looks without noticing said attention; she tends to be totally oblivious to that kind of thing. To her, being a Jedi is worthy of note, not her physical appearance. Then, of course, she met Thaos, and started to wonder if being attractive might not be a good thing after all...of course, she'd be way too embarrassed to ever admit that! ;)
Reeid: Reeid considers himself a fairly normal-looking dude, and he's right, he is. While not unattractive, Reeid has the uncanny ability to go unnoticed at nearly all times. He considers this "innocuousness" vital to his success as an Imperial sniper, and is therefore quite thankful for it. When he was a child, his father used to call him "Summer Eyes" because of his bright, leaf-green eyes. Reeid hated it at the time, but thinks of the nickname fondly now, with his father gone. Reeid tends not to care if anyone notices him or not; he prefers to be left alone, and could care less if women (or men) flirt with him - not that anyone ever has to begin with. But then everything changed when the fire nation attacked, and by the fire nation I mean Erkal.
Jurrian: Juri has classic looks: blond hair, blue eyes, a smattering of freckles, rosy cheeks. He's basically the bishounen of the group. He actually looks exactly like his sister, Noemme. If they were the same age they could be mistaken as twins. Where Reeid seems to have the uncanny ability to always go unnoticed, Juri sops up attention like a sponge...and enjoys it.
