Rah rah, Sith bad but like when the Sith Order was apart of the Sith Empire society and not a weird trauma cult (I.E.: Bane’s Order), imagine how scary it had to be to grow up in that environment. For one, your people (the OG Sith) were already occupied by the Jedi Exiles and your species became the Sith Purebloods. Then, you guys get ran the fuck out of Korriban and have to struggle to survive because Naga Sadow flopped. So the Republic and Jedi really beat y’all ass.
The Sith Empire just doesn’t have the overall economy or power of the Republic so imagine being a Sith Pureblood child and knowing that it’s pretty much on sight for you for the rest of your life. Because unlike a lot of alien species, if you see a Sith Pureblood there’s a high chance they’re Imperial or Sith Order.
Like mfs had the most iconic design of anybody in Star Wars, there’s no hiding from being a Sith if you’re a Sith Pureblood. A Jedi can spot you a mile away and it’s immediate smoke. Growing up knowing that would make me an aggressive mf who’s driven by fear and hatred too. Your culture also has a lot of practices that are considered “darkside” but it’s probably just because you guys evolved to survive Korriban (shittiest planet ever, makes Tatooine look like Naboo in comparison)
Then you factor in that you guys are exiled and there’s probably zero chance the Republic will welcome you into the club after y’all were acting an ass for like 4 generations. It’s pretty much fight or die, you don’t even have your home world a good minute either. Plus, Jedi and Republic mfs go to your homeworld to steal your ancestors shit like mfs stealing your great great great grandmas ancient incense burner and sticking it in the chancellors office or some shit
I’m not saying the Sith Empire are right or whatever, but I’m saying that I can only imagine how scary it has to be to be a kid growing up in these circumstances and why you’d grow up being like “I want to be a Sith Lord and beef with the Jedi too”. Sith Pureblood parents probably telling their kids “if you be bad, the Jedi Knight will get you” when they’re misbehaving
Because on the real, I know Sith Purebloods be looking intimidating and scary when they grown but when they lil kids they have zero aura. Sis imagine looking like that and knowing that grown ass people with telekinesis and the world’s hottest swords want you dead. Yeah, I’m turning my fear into anger, anger into hate, and going to the darkside too. Also, I’m getting dripped tf out in jewelry too
Another absolutely gorgeous piece from @commander-sarahs-art today! Rel & @wilvarin-chan’s Essie having a quiet moment!
I’m thinking about Alysle and Theron right now so if anyone has questions based on what I’ve said so far pls ask them. I need to post more about them but the end of the semester and graduation from college (finally) is kicking my butt. Hopefully I will be more attuned to my own needs after, ironically, May 4. That’s when everything is due lol.
In the meantime, I ran date night with pink haired Alysle and it came out real cute. Have pics.
Doodles of SWTOR characters my friends and I made! Top left one is my character :3 their name is Sohi An-So.
The Gift - chapter 2
Talos was sitting on the deck of the Commander's ship, checking out reports and messages.
He has spent the last week speaking with contacts in the Imperial Reclamation Service, scavengers, and even some archaeological friends in the Alliance who had connections in the Republic. He has been tracking any information he could gather to find any relics worth retrieving. He even used Xelek's name to obtain a small list of lost holocrons that were still missing. It was true that the Sith lord was not very high in the hierarchy, so he didn't have access to much information, but it was a start.
Truth be told, the archaeologist had not made much progress and was starting to think of giving up until the beeping of his personal holocom startled him.
The call originated from Yavin 4. He answered.
The image was of a bearded cyborg imperial captain wearing the Reclamation Service uniform. He didn't look old but had half of his face disfigured by horrible scars. Talos didn't recognize him.
"Lieutenant Talos Drelik?" The man asked.
"Yes, it's me."
"Hello, Talos. It's me, Roku Avas; we worked together in Taris a couple of years ago."
"Oh! It's true, I remember, you were brilliant, a freshly graduated archaeologist. I see you made it to Captain."
"I did, I did. But this is not a social call. You see, I'm overseeing the excavation of old temples on Yavin 4, and a mutual friend told me you were inquiring about some relics. We discovered what appears to be an ancient tomb. It even predates the Sith Empire, but we were not able to access it. It is well protected by the force, and the acolytes who tried to access it all died."
His tone was professional, but it carried a hint of sadness, as if he had lost something dear to him.
"We have orders to stop the excavation, but I know something amazing hides inside. Maybe your allies could do it. I will send you the readings and data we have. Just, you know, share your discovery with me in case you find something interesting."
To say Talos was intrigued was an understatement.
"Sure, I will talk to my people and take a look at the data. Thanks, Captain." He made a salute, and the communication cut and the data started coming in.
The file was a well-done report; the findings implied an old tomb, probably from the first Sith lords, precisely what they were looking for. The info was impressive. They had scanners, electromagnetic readings, power readings, and images of everything they had found.
He needed to go to the site and take a look for himself. A quick trip to Yavin 4 was a must.
He thought of taking the ship himself right now, but Andronikos would kill him if something happened to his baby. Additionally, it was clear that he would need a force user; a mere human could not pass through the traps.
"Time to put this team to work." He talked to himself and hit the call button on the console.
Ashara was the first to pick up.
"Hello, Ashara! Is it a good time?" He said this with an inflection of his voice to imply the need for secrecy.
"Yes, I'm alone." She said, looking around. "What's going on?"
At that moment, Andronikos' signal came in.
"What is it, Talos?"
"I have info on the mission... Come to the Fury, this is better... in person."
At least half an hour later, Andronikos and Ashara came into the ship. Talos was waiting for them in the conference room.
"What is it, man?" Andronikos said as a greeting. "You seemed awfully secretive in the call."
"I think I found something for the Commander, but I need a force user and an action hero. We will be going to Yavin 4 and check a Tomb from an ancient Sith Lord." He said the last part, looking at Ashara. "If I'm right, this could be the holocron Lord Rhiavi wants. And we can start the recovery mission."
Andronikos looked skeptical.
"Why not ask the Commander directly?"
"Because it may be a false alarm. I already informed Lord Rhiavi of my intention to take the ship. We have departure authorization for -" he checked the time "-now. So you're up."
The archaeologist's eyes held hope. The Alliance had some artifacts, but it had been a long time since he was on a real excavation. This trip was an opportunity to return to his roots.
Andronikos went to the Commander's deck and started the engine. Meanwhile, Ashara stayed with Talos.
"You know, I'm not a Sith... I will not be able to help much..."
"Don't worry, Ashara, your connection to the force is strong enough, and you got the right training. It won't be difficult."
Talos stood up and went to the deck.
Ashara stood behind. Not difficult? Bullshit. No Sith business was ever easy; she learned it the hard way.

Well this is a fragment from my SWTOR story "The Gift" this chapter focus on the inquisitor companions and the mess they get into. I really like to explore the relationship between them, and not gonna lie, i love how this chapter turned out.
You can totally read it here
I just think it’s devastating bc it’s canon that it was Arcann who went and brought Vaylin back from Nathema, and during KOTFE if you watch all the cutscenes, even when he’s losing his temper he has a moment where he pauses and tells Vaylin that he’s “not blaming her” for all that’s going down, and acknowledges that Valkorian held her back the most out of all of them and it’s just sooo 🥹 upsetting because they were truly brother and sister, and loved each other and they never get a chance to be a normal FAMILY…
