Decided to draw Chris casting one of the abilities from his bard subclass
can you elaborate on what reelkind is?
It’s a play on “real” and “film reel”, anyway reelkind is what non-toonkind folk are! Like Eddie Valiant in Roger Rabbit, the larger world in the Toonkind DnD games is (or at least was) entirely inhabited by these weird 3D fleshy beings that don’t even have hammerspaces. Toons started appearing due to the influence of the mysterious magical Ink Well and a bunch of other lore I don’t really know about bc that’s Yuni and Owl’s stuff and I ain’t got much on the lowdown of How That All Happened but you know what we don’t need to know everything to enjoy it.
Anyway the term for the non-toon folks was ‘Realkind’, but it’s been rubbing a lot of toons the wrong way for a long time, so recently Engineer has started a little movement simply replacing that ‘a’ with an ‘e’ to make things a little more fair, see? Better yet, it seems to be catching on...
Doing some experimentation with Clip Studio Paint, decided to draw the main vehicle of one of my smaller characters!
Xorbleegok (not pictured) is one of a race of tiny aliens known as Sihnezians, but I can’t really get into their whole mess right now. All you do need to know is that he somehow ended up in the Toonkind world of Einquell, and now he’s stuck in a colony of similarly tiny cartoon characters!
The actual references for the twins that I never posted
Left is Liam featuring his rapier
Right is Chris, but I normally draw him without his jacket or guitar case
No context for this fun AU doodle I did for Chris, I was just proud of him and wanted to share
