Tonight I discovered what a Starweird is.

Holy FRIKKING hell. I just had a nightmare about Reevers.

Macrophages are the cells in your body responsible for eating dead cells, bacteria and viruses. They capture it, eat it and kill it. If you're lucky, it happens in that order. There was this awesome 2006 paper where they looked at what shape the cells could eat, including UFOs. 

Macs eat UFOs pretty well, or atleast, if the UFOs are presented correctly. I submit this as further evidence that they're Reevers.
