About Reevis
You have seen here, today, what these mages are capable of. They are not to be trusted, and they must be stopped...
Born and raised in the Lothering Chantry, siblings Reevis and Farkis were abandoned by their parentes in the hope that the Chantry and the Revered Mother would provide their children with a better future. While young Reevis studied the word of the Maker in the hope of becoming a Revered Mother, her older brother Farkis was beginning to show and innate talent for performing miraculous healings.
By age 12, word had spread of Farkis's miraculous cures, with his sister by his side, Farkis traveled across Thedas curing nobles and beggars alike in the name of the Maker. It was late one night that Reevis learned how Farkis was really performing his cures: magic. Partly out of fear and partly out of ignorance, Reevis vowed never to reveal the source of Farkis's powers.
It wasn't long before the siblings were sent off to another ailing victim. However, years of success had made Farkis's complacent and sloppy. It was back in his hometown of Lothering that Farkis made his biggest mistake: he cured a man in public...in broad daylight. Fearing any and all apostates, the Templars captured young Farkis and sent him to the Circle Tower.
For six years, the siblings kept in contact through letters it wasn't until Farkis turned 21 that the letters stopped abruptly. Fearing for her brother's safety, Reevis packed up her supplies and made her way to the Circle Tower. Once reunited with her brother though, Reevis noticed a drastic shift in her brother's actions: he becoming introverted, asocial, and any interactions he did have with humans and creatures alike bordered on inhumane. Reevis remained at the Tower long enough to witness her brother's Harrowings. Reevis watched in horror as the orders were given to slay her older brother.
Before the tip of the Knight-Captain's longsword crossed Farkis's neck, the mage suddenly appeared to return to reality. From his belt he produced a small dagger, and slit his palm. The Fade Demon had won. Reevis watched as her brother killed Templar after Templar, until only the Knight-Commander remained, without warning the Knight-Commander killed the young mage.
Witnessing what could happen to a mage that was given too much freedom, Reevis agreed to begin training to become a Templar. Her first Harrowing was that of a young mage, Femke, who had begun to display the same behavior as her younger brother. However, unlike her brother Femke was successful in escaping the Tower, now it is up to Reevis, Ser Travis and a elven rogue to locate and destroy the blood mage...
