a swipe of the message that appeared on her phone to send it away as she tucks it in her pocket. that was sooner than she had thought it would happen, but it wasn’t a bad thing in the slightest.

well, that didn’t take as long as she had originally thought it would.
the crystal feels heavy in her hands but weak. easy for breaking, she assumes and quickly confirms when it shatters under the pressure of her grip and the desired weapon forms almost instantly. now most people automatically assume that a mage or a wizard is not one for weapons or that they don’t know how to use them. and in the case of those who knew Nine was primarily a magic user, it was the same. but that is where they would be wrong. sure, she never used them in combat. but she knows her way around them, how to properly work with them-- if she didn’t, then it would have been impossible for her to make those special weapons back in her world.
eyes carefully scan the spear in her hand-- a sankaku yari by the looks of it. the spear is twirled effortlessly as she tests the feel of it. a good balanced weight, long enough to keep distance from an opponent if need be. the spearhead appeared to be at least eight...maybe nine inches in length. just below it she could see the slot where the flame fragment undoubtedly would go. it wasn’t much overall-- a regular weapon with a limited secondary ability. but it would come in handy. Nine does not want another repeat of that incident with the static creatures where she could practically do nothing to fight back.
it was a feeling of frustrating helplessness the witch doesn’t want to have to deal with ever again.
