saw ur tags asking for toothbrush recs, i have to say boar bristle all the way. a neat thing about them is you can vary the softness depending on how long they soak in hot water; a minute or so and they should be pretty soft.
i got mine from natural spa supplies (uk), totally plastic free and fully biodegradable. ik there's other suppliers from the usa and one in australia, depending on ur location, can't speak for them tho
